Oversee and manage the company's Finance function, providing strategic guidance to the Board. Prepare and present detailed monthly management accounts, summarising the financial position. Monitor cashflow and update short- and long-term financial forecasts. Conduct monthly reconciliations and maintain control accounts for the P&L and Balance Sheet. Oversee payroll processing, VAT returns, and HMRC submissions. Manage and review debtor and creditor positions and ensure timely payments. Develop financial models for forecasting, variance analysis, and budgeting. Key essentials of the Finance Manager:
Qualifications:
ACCA, ACA, or CIMA qualified Experience:
Strong understanding of statutory accounts, VAT, and work-in-progress accounting. Familiarity with Sage 50 Accounts and Sage Payroll.
Skills:
Advanced Excel skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
