Finance Manager required for a growing local business in Downham Market. This is a unique chance to join a business on an exciting growth trajectory. You will have the chance to influence the finance team’s development as the company expands. This newly created role will report into the Finance Director and would suit someone with a proven track record within industry or someone looking to transition from practice into industry. Key Responsibilities for this role:

Preparing monthly reporting pack to include monthly management accounts, profit analysis and business KPIs. Overseeing business record keeping on Sage 50 Accounts including sales and purchase ledgers, VAT returns, CIS returns. Responsible for monthly accounts adjustments including preparing work in progress calculations in collaboration with the operations department. Day-to-day cashflow management including running credit control and processing supplier payments. Processing monthly salaries on Sage 50 Payroll and administering the company pension scheme. Assisting the Finance Director with preparation of forecasts and budgets. Preparing ad hoc reports and analysis to support business decision making. Supporting the Finance Director to implement new initiatives to support the company’s strategic plans. Key Skills and Experience Required for this Finance Manager Role:

ACA/ACCA qualified or part-qualified, alternatively qualified by experience. Able to produce accurate financial statements in accordance with current accounting standards. Experience processing payroll including different pay elements, sick pay/parental pay, pension contributions, etc. Knowledge of Sage 50 Accounts and Payroll and Microsoft Office. Strong attention to detail. Keen to mentor and develop other members of the team as the company grows. Ability to prioritise and meet deadlines. Excellent communication skills. Team player.
