To oversee end-to-end finance operations, financial analysis and support and advice for financial planning, modelling and strategy to the Company SLT. Responsibility for ensuring our procedures and controls are compliant and efficient. To manage the Finance Team. Responsibilities

Support the Head of Business Management to develop and implement financial strategies that align with the company's objectives. Create and monitor budgets. Budget/financial modelling for strategy, projects and growth. Create reports and support colleagues for effective budget/financial management, providing resources and training as needed. Review and analyse financial reports. Forecast financial trends and assess risks to inform decision-making. Oversee financial transaction processing and monitor financial performance. Manage the company's cash flow in accordance with the financial strategy. Development and oversight of finance systems, processes and controls. Attendance at and preparation of management reports for the monthly Directors Finance meeting. Ensure the company has suitable policies for use by staff, customers and suppliers in relation to financial matters. Statutory/Regulatory Responsibilities

You will ensure the company's filing obligations are met in line with HMRC and Companies House requirements. To ensure that all financial activity is carried out in accordance with agreed policies, appropriate legislation and financial regulations. You are required to complete all mandatory training required for the role and by the Company. You are required to comply with the Company's: Safeguarding Policy and Procedures GDPR Policy and Procedures Health and Safety Policy and Procedures Code of Conduct It is a requirement that all Company Policies and Procedures issued through People HR are read, understood and signed by you. Line Management Responsibilities

Management of finance team staff. Manage relationships with external stakeholders, including our Accountancy Provider. This post requires an enhanced DBS check. Minimum Requirements

You will need experience in managing and running financial operations, reporting on financial activity, building budgets and financial models and communicating these to a range of colleagues. This role requires leadership and management skills, excellent IT skills, and a forward-thinking attitude. Previous experience working in a finance role, with knowledge of financial legislation and regulations. Analytical skills and attention to detail. Ability to prioritise and work to deadlines. Excellent communication and inter-personal skills. The ability to present complex information in a clear and accessible way. Confident articulating and presenting data and information to senior leaders and directors. Strong IT skills, particularly in Excel and financial software. Ability to use initiative and work autonomously, drive initiatives and developments. Able to maintain confidentiality. Desirable Qualifications

Experience managing a team. Experience of working with Xero accounting software. Experience in an education environment. Commitment to safeguarding and safe practice. Honesty and commitment to our company values. Standards driven and solution-focused. Leadership and management skills. Highly motivated and reliable. Forward thinking, willing to learn and embrace new ideas. Additional Desirable Skills

Love of the outdoors. Sense of humour. A passion for education. Qualifications

5 GCSE's grade A-C or equivalent including maths. Degree in accounting, business administration, economics, finance, or 5 years suitable experience in a business or financial role.
