Job summary A Band 7 opportunity is now available within the Specialised Commissioning Finance team based in one of the East of England regional offices. This post is offered as a fixed term contract or secondment for up to 18 months from start date. Job description Job responsibilities As a Finance Manager, the post holder will work within the Specialised Commissioning Finance team in NHS England East region and in 2025/26 within a centralised hub hosted by Bedfordshire, Luton and Milton Keynes ICB (BLMK). The post holder will work as part of a dynamic team in delivering an effective service supporting internal and external stakeholders across the 6 ICBs within the East region and NHS England to: Deliver an effective service supporting managers and staff across the systems to ensure the delivery of high quality, safe services in line with local and national policy objectives. Support the team to develop and deliver effective financial plans for all aspects of specialised services which support overall delivery of national and local priorities and work within available funding to support specialised commissioning. Undertake financial and information analysis across a range of services, including and not limited to, budget setting and monitoring, reconciliations and activity and cost analysis. Support the delivery of the management accounts function within the remit of the post.
