The Role This Finance Manager position offers a unique opportunity to work closely with the business owner in shaping a groundbreaking brand that harmoniously blends the rich traditions of the Scottish Highlands with cutting-edge scientific innovation. As Finance Manager, you will play a critical role in assessing the Baoighill Group’s portfolio to enhance operational efficiency and advising on acquisitions and divestments, ensuring the group’s sustained success. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with the business owner to evaluate the portfolio, delivering actionable recommendations to optimise performance and achieve growth objectives Record, analyse, and report financial data to assess accounts and uncover opportunities for improvement Oversee billing and invoicing processes, ensuring accuracy and financial integrity Prepare detailed financial reports, forecasts, and budgets, providing insights to guide the business toward financial targets Present comprehensive account status and financial performance reports on a regular basis Conduct in-depth financial analysis to evaluate metrics, assess performance, and support strategic decision-making Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations, industry standards, and best practices while staying abreast of evolving trends Identify potential financial risks within the portfolio and implement effective mitigation strategies This is an outstanding opportunity for a finance professional looking to make a significant impact within a small, ambitious business that values both innovation and tradition.
