Cranswick Poultry is a specialty producer of delicious, cooked poultry ingredients and a leading innovator in our industry. We create exciting, original products that meet the needs of today’s busy consumers. Working closely with customers, our bespoke chicken and turkey products offer creative and flavorsome lunchtime solutions. An exciting new opportunity has arisen at Cranswick Country Foods Poultry site to join the Finance team. The key elements of the role are: Full ownership & responsibility of weekly and monthly management accounts with appropriate variance analysis and explanations Presentation of the weekly P&L, KPIs & monthly board pack to management and SLT Reporting and challenging relevant business KPI’s to drive site performance Assist with preparing annual budgets and quarterly reforecasts Management and development of the Finance, sales admin & IT teams, current team of 5 Cost-centre reviews with management team to drive efficiencies and site operational opportunities Attendance at daily on-site management team meetings Preparing monthly VAT returns, cash flows, and CAPEX forecasts Ensure all necessary financial information is submitted accurately and according to tight deadlines Preparing capital expenditure requests and post-implementation reviews Managing and maximising cash flow for the company by ensuring good working capital practices, especially credit control Maintaining NAV (finance system) and FOPS/CMEX (factory ERP) information and related reporting dashboards Managing the year-end audit and internal audits Final sign-off of site factory payroll (currently circa 350 staff) Review & sign off of all new vendors, bank account reconciliations & bank payments Implementation and monitoring of financial control and management reporting procedures and processes Ensure compliance of information to statutory authorities including HMRC Any other responsibilities commensurate with the post. Any other reasonable requests made by the Directors
