Finance Specialist
for one of our clients in the United Kingdom. The client is seeking a special individual to work closely with the CEO for the group who is well-versed in the financial accounting standards and processes in the United Kingdom. Duties and Responsibilities: Ensuring customers pay on time and charging them for overdue invoices. Driving the continuous improvement of end-to-end accounting practices. Preparing and posting monthly accruals, prepayments, and similar accounting entries. Budgeting and forecasting & variance analysis. Leading the analysis of monthly and quarterly numbers and presenting findings to the board. Managing an end-to-end audit process of current systems while acting as the first point of contact for external auditors. Continually identifying risks to delivery, proposing solutions where necessary, and effectively managing stakeholder expectations throughout. Dealing with working capital management and producing cash flow forecasts. Starting legal proceedings if clients do not pay their debts on time. Maintaining accurate records. Leading the team responsible for payroll, VAT, and HMRC processes. Costing for the offered products. Skill Sets: Familiarity with software (Xero / Zoho / Healthcode / Trade Shift). Strong technical accounting knowledge. Excel and modeling skills. Creating statutory accounts. Ability to delegate and manage the work of others. Experience in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR). Experience producing budgets up to multi-millions. Experience running annual audits. UK experience is preferable. Mandatory Education: Professional education in Accounting or Finance. Job Type:
