The role

You will be a key member of the Finance team, working in a small team of 5 people and reporting to our Senior financial controller.

You will be responsible for managing the month-end close process, preparing financial reports and balance sheet reconciliations, coordinating tax compliance and audit processes, and participating in ad-hoc finance-related projects.

You will be responsible for: Financial leadership in managing the month-end and year-end processes. Financial acumen in reconciling and analysing revenue streams and balance sheet accounts. Managing and overseeing the year-end audit process and providing support to budgeting and forecasting processes. Managing the accounting team. Overseeing systems, transactions, and management accounts. Streamlining processes and procedures to ensure efficiencies are always being pursued. Who we're looking for: A qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with post-qualification experience. Attention to detail, strong problem-solving abilities, and a proactive approach. Strong communicator with financial and management accounting experience. Good relationship building in working with key stakeholders across the business. Fascination - always looking at new efficient ways of working. Experience of working within a complex organisational structure. Strong process and accounting knowledge including statutory accounting. Comfortable working independently, able to manage your own workload through good time management and prioritisation skills to deliver the required outcomes. Ideally, you will have experience of managing a team. SUN financial systems and SAP Concur experience would be an advantage.
