A very exciting opportunity for a finance role within the business. The role will manage the financial and operational requirements of a newly setup entity within the Group. The entity will provide general contractor services for data centre construction.
Main responsibilities Assisting in project managing the operational finance setup of the company Liaise with payroll manager and payroll accountant to ensure appropriate payroll accounting and payment Ensure that all subcontractors are onboarded to the system appropriately Liaise with Accounts Payable, Design and Construction and Treasury to ensure that subcontractors and other AP payments are made on time Ensure that Accounts Receivable invoices are raised and settled on time Own the TB of the legal entity and ensure accurate month end reporting Cash flow management and reporting for the legal entity Liaise with tax to ensure all tax matters are managed appropriately (VAT, CIS and CIT) Liaise with external accounting service providers to ensure that financial statements are produced accurately and on time Manage the annual audit process for the entity (if an audit is required) Manage all other legal entity compliance requirements Other ad-hoc tasks Qualifications and experience Qualified accountant (ACA, CA, ACCA, CPA) At least 3 years PQE in a finance role in industry Strong operational finance experience Strong understanding and history of managing full trial balances Must be able to branch outside of just finance/accounting and manage other varied tasks Strong presentation, analytical, communication and organisation skills Self-motivator, problem solver, provide recommendations and solutions to challenges If this role is of interest to you, please apply now!
