Pyramid8 are currently recruiting for a commercially aware Finance Manager for a small fast-paced high-end family-run manufacturing business. The Finance Manager will provide financial analysis and support to help the Directors/shareholders make key decisions in running the business while managing statutory compliance. The role as finance manager will be to identify and implement improvements in operating efficiency, people capability, and maximize the potential of the function. Ultimately responsible for the achievement of KPIs, goals, and objectives, whilst consistently ensuring the highest standard is maintained in delivery. KEY DUTIES:

Prepare monthly accounts Statutory compliance with VAT/PAYE/P11d's and Pensions Compile and present financial and budget reports Review and analyze financial performance Manage in-month and long-term cashflow Support the company's return on investment throughout the business Create and monitor financial targets and strategies including cashflow and managing the company's debt Create a PO process and interdepartmental function Manage cashflow and payment function Oversee the payroll function Prepare plans, strategies, reports, and proposals Oversee the delivery of plans, policies, and services establishing priorities and schedules of main activities Drive leadership behaviors, core values, and code of ethics to all employees Oversee retention and recruitment throughout the function Promote the detection of talent and ensure opportunities for career enhancement are shared Champion and drive process improvements and compliance Promote operational efficiencies Support system development activities Oversee and ensure the smooth functioning of systems to deliver services and define and implement changes required Promote customer satisfaction and retention Effectively communicate with team members holding regular and structured team meetings to ensure the Functional goals are clear and progress is communicated. Balance the direction of the business in line with financial forecasting Skills

Analytical skills and ability to deal with numbers/KPIs Ability to implement change in processes or systems effectively Managing, maintaining, and growing cashflow Organizational skills (Time management) Strong leadership and communication skills Effective decision maker Problem-solving High achiever with a flexible approach Mentoring skills Microsoft Products / Xero / Dext Experience in a manufacturing business is preferred but not essential
