ABOUT THE ROLE

As Finance Manager, you'll contribute to the financial health and strategic direction of SES by: Assisting in the production of long-term business plans, annual budgets and quarterly forecasts. Collaborating with stakeholders to ensure order books and forecasts align with business plans. Providing tailored financial analysis to support key decisions. Analysing historical data to identify trends in costs, value, and cash flow. Acting as a trusted partner for cross-functional teams by addressing queries on costing, processes, and reporting. Keeping up to date with industry developments to drive innovation. Supporting projects that improve systems and processes, including IT initiatives. Challenging business activities to identify opportunities for growth and enhanced results. Delivering timely and accurate monthly management accounts and reports for stakeholders. Supporting the preparation and accuracy of the monthly Board Report and variance analyses. Validating and monitoring monthly overhead costs, partnering with budget holders to ensure spend aligns with forecasts. Producing detailed monthly reports to track variances and ensure clarity in decision-making. WHAT YOU WILL BRING

Proven experience in financial management or similar roles. Exceptional skills in financial analysis, reporting, and business partnering. The ability to engage and challenge stakeholders at all levels, providing clear insights and recommendations. A proactive approach to process improvement and problem-solving.
