We are seeking a UK-based down-to-earth and pragmatic qualified Finance Manager to join an ambitious business in the gaming industry. Given the business is in a growth phase, they need someone hands-on who is comfortable in handling the day-to-day transactional processing across the group as well as experience with budgeting and forecasting to provide insights into the management team. This role is critical to the business, and you will be supported by a part-time CFO. This will be a largely remote position with occasional travel to the central London office, therefore requiring a self-starter, happy to work from home. Key Responsibilities: Manage day-to-day transactional processing, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, expenses, bank accounts and payroll. Prepare and present financial reports to senior management and stakeholders. Lead the Group’s budgeting, forecasting and scenario modelling. Collaborate with management to provide financial insights and support decision-making in a prompt manner. Monitor cash flow and manage working capital, both short-term and longer term, to the benefit of the business and report requirements to the management team. Preparation of concise and accurate royalty reports, which are easy-to-read for partners, circulated in accordance with agreed timescales. Update forecasts with stakeholders regularly so that there is clarity around the expected future performance of the business. Qualifications and experience: Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. A professional qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, ACA) is desirable or demonstrable qualification by experience. Proven experience in a finance management role, preferably within the video games or entertainment industry. Strong knowledge of the month-end process and experience in forecasting. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite / Google, particularly Excel/Sheets. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. High levels of attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. On Offer: Two week company shut-down in summer and winter on top of annual holiday allowance. Opportunity to work in a creative and innovative industry. Collaborative and inclusive work environment. Professional development and career growth opportunities. How to Apply: If you are open to exploring, please apply online or feel free to send your CV to Daniel McGuire at daniel.mcguire@investigo.co.uk.
