Reporting to the Financial Director and supervising a small team, you’ll be responsible for managing day-to-day finance operations, ensuring compliance, and contributing to strategic financial planning. The organisation operates nationally and is continuously growing, with exciting plans ahead for the next year. Offering hybrid working with 2 days at home per week and an easily accessible location via car or public transport links.
Experience in a leadership position is essential, coupled with the right skills. This position is suited to a Senior Accountant looking for a step up or an experienced Finance Manager looking for a new challenge.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare accurate financial reports, budgets, and forecasts. Manage month-end and year-end close processes. Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and company policies. Lead and mentor a small, but growing, finance team. Collaborate with key stakeholders to support decision-making. Drive process improvements within the finance function. Essential Skills and Experience:
Strong knowledge of finance principles, budgeting, and reporting. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and leadership abilities. Part or Fully-Qualified status.
