Are you an experienced finance professional with a passion for sustainability and innovation? Would you like to be part of a growing company that's shaping the future of renewable energy? This exciting opportunity offers you the chance to join a fast-growing company at the forefront of the renewable energy sector. As a Finance Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing all financial operations for the business, ensuring the financial stability that supports the company's mission to drive sustainability and growth. You will join as the sole person in finance, with significant opportunities to build a finance team around you as the company grows. The company has huge plans to scale over the next few years, supported by substantial investment, creating a path for you to shape and expand the financial department in line with the company's expansion. In this role, you will oversee the preparation of financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and ensure that robust internal controls are in place. You will manage accounts payable, receivable, reconciliations, invoicing, and financial transactions for clients and suppliers, ensuring accuracy and compliance with tax and regulatory requirements, including VAT, CIS, year-end tax returns, and statutory accounts. The future of this role is dynamic, offering projects such as bringing payroll in-house, transitioning from an outsourced solution to a more efficient internal process that you will help shape. This is an opportunity for someone who thrives in a collaborative and close-knit culture. The team is growing, and you'll work closely with senior management, including the CEO, on key decisions that will impact the company's financial direction. The company's modern office, located just a short walk from the train and metro station in the heart of Newcastle, fosters a creative and inclusive environment where all employees feel valued and supported. The culture is collaborative, with a strong sense of teamwork and a shared commitment to the company's sustainability goals. You are fully qualified or have equivalent industry experience, with relevant expertise in financial management, planning, and cash management, ideally within a growing company. Exceptional analytical skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment will be essential. Strong communication and presentation skills are also key in this role. In addition to a performance-based bonus, half-yearly salary reviews, and a company pension, the company is continuously enhancing its benefits package to support employee well-being and professional development. If you're ready to make an impact in a dynamic and innovative company that's transforming the renewable energy sector, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
