Are you an experienced Finance Manager looking to join a small and developed team within a supportive and positive environment? My client is recruiting for a Finance Manager to join their experienced team and offers excellent training and long-term development. The role could suit someone from practice, industry, higher education or charitable organisations. The role has been created to ensure the smooth running of the established department, and to work hands-on alongside the current head of the department supporting with accounts and management of a small team. The role will progress into Head of Department. Responsibilities

Monthly management accounts , quarterly VAT & supporting with the annual budget and in–year forecasts Finance and process systems , process & system improvement. Develop internal control procedures for main and specialist transactions such as student fees, grants & bursaries. Supervising the team of four

and supporting them, once up to speed with the role. Experience

Professional Accounting qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) Fully Qualified or Part Qualified with skills by experience Recent experience in a similar role Flexible and supportive attitude with a desire to lead by example Attention to detail and excellent organisational skills Excellent benefits
