Finance Manager - Part-time 2-days per week
Location: Basingstoke
Detail: This role will be a job-share with another part-time Finance Manager.
Responsibilities: Monitor and report monthly, the performance of the firm against agreed budgets and draw attention to significant under or over performance. Analyse current financial reporting and practices providing recommendations to the Directors in respect of streamlining processes. Produce accurate models and financial forecasts for the Company to support strategic planning. Undertake a review of the Company's financial data and performance, reporting to the Directors. Conduct financial due diligence and modelling for potential investments and acquisitions. Analyse and evaluate financial performance to provide insights and recommendations to the Directors. Lead the annual budgeting process. Identify and mitigate financial risks; develop and implement risk management strategies and controls where required. Demonstrate compliance with legislation and regulations relating to Accounts matters. Alongside the Operational Finance Manager, manage the annual audit. Assist the Operational Finance Manager with the monthly management accounts and reporting to Directors on a quarterly basis. Provide cover for the Operational Finance Manager where required, making decisions and taking actions accordingly.
Requirements: Proven experience in financial modelling, analysis, and strategic planning. ACCA/ACA/CIMA qualified preferred. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage with key stakeholders internally and externally. Proficient in financial software tools.
Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 will be pro-rata for working 2-days per week.
