This growth-focused business is seeking a Finance Manager to play a pivotal role in their next phase of development.

The Role

As Finance Manager, you'll take complete ownership of the Finance and Credit functions and lead key transformation projects across the business. This role requires a hands-on approach, coupled with the ability to think strategically and adapt to a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

Drive the overall business strategy and objectives. Develop rolling three-year business plans, annual budgets, and forecasts. Manage cashflow forecasting (annual, monthly, and weekly). Oversee all financial reporting and audit requirements, ensuring statutory compliance. Develop and execute margin, channel, and category strategies. Lead digital transformation projects to enhance business efficiency. Implement robust internal controls and streamline month-end processes. Manage relationships with auditors, banks, HMRC, and other key stakeholders. Negotiate debt and financing facilities to support growth targets. Maintain legal compliance and oversee contract management. Provide oversight of payroll and outsourced HR functions. Effectively manage finance and customer service teams. Manage foreign exchange processes and cross-border trade activities.

Essential Skills and Experience

Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, ACMA, or equivalent). Proven experience in high-volume e-commerce and B2C/B2B industries. Strong knowledge of ERP systems, ideally with implementation experience. Advanced Excel and Microsoft Office skills. Exceptional communication and team management skills. Detail-oriented, flexible, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment. Experience in managing cross-border trade and compliance.

Projects and Systems Involved

Lead transformation projects such as business intelligence implementation, debt management tools, and digital returns management. Work with systems including Sage 200, Skynamo, and Zahara.

What's on Offer?

Competitive salary starting from £80,000, based on experience and qualifications. 22 days annual leave (rising to 25 after two years). £1,000 annual clothing allowance. Fun team activities. Monday to Friday, 9:30 am - 6:00 pm working hours.

If you're an experienced finance professional with a passion for driving change and delivering results, this is your opportunity to join a thriving and dynamic company.
