Amazon is hiring a Finance Manager for our Global Corporate Procurement (GCP) Finance team at our London office. This role is crucial to our corporate sourcing process and company success.

As a Finance Manager in the GCP Finance team, you will partner with Global Category Managers and business partners to review the financial impact of strategic negotiations. You'll develop innovative sourcing pricing strategies and support negotiation of sustainable, long-term partnerships. The GCP Finance team supports multiple business areas, including Marketing, Transportation, Building/Construction, HR, Professional Services, Software, and Technology.

This role requires someone who excels at managing multiple complex priorities simultaneously while building strong partnerships with cross-functional teams. Finance managers are well-versed in financial concepts and tools, experts in performing multifaceted financial analysis, and skilled at clearly communicating analysis outcomes.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in financial concepts and tools, excellent analytical skills, strong communication abilities, and the capacity to manage multiple priorities effectively. Key job responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain multi-variable, complex models to determine the costs and benefits of strategic sourcing decisions, including highlighting relevant key factors and recommendations. Support and maintain reporting to highlight key factors impacting product costs. Develop and deliver content for cross functional operational reviews with internal leadership. Support internal Finance and Procurement teams in delivering actionable insights on financial performance and opportunities to improve. Collaborate with multiple departments including Finance, Tax, Procurement, and Accounting to understand and quantify the impacts of purchasing at Amazon. Lead key initiatives related to cost management, reporting, and forecasting. Drive cost management policies.

Minimum Requirements

6+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience 6+ years of building financial and operational reports/data sets that inform business decision-making experience 5+ years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience 5+ years of solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and recommendations that have a proven impact on business (e.g., financial savings, operational improvements, or customer benefits) experience 5+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience Experience performing ad hoc analysis using advanced Excel Experience building and managing financial models for business forecasting and problem solving Experience delivering forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, and data interpretation of results 6+ years of identifying incomplete or inaccurate data, identifying the root cause and creating/implementing an escalation plan experience MBA, or CPA
