Support the COO in the management of financial operations within the wider organisation and individual sites. Work with individual business managers to set standards and establish best practices and knowledge of finance, policies, and procedures. Collaborate with stakeholders for optimal financial results as well as social value. Support the executive team, leadership team, and central team in maintaining an inclusive culture. Role model integrity and commitment to the vision and values of the organisation. Support the development of systems and procedures to ensure the efficient, effective, and accurate management of finance. Assist the COO with the collation of information or other external returns. Responsibility for budgeting & forecasting. Use the agreed budget to actively monitor and control performance to achieve the best value. Undertake month-end reconciliations. What you'll need to succeed
An accountancy degree or qualification would be advantageous (CIPFA, ACCA, ACA, CIMA, AAT). Experience working within a public sector, charity, or not-for-profit organisation. Experience using financial and other ICT packages. Good working knowledge of Excel. Excellent stakeholder management skills.
