Your new role As Finance Manager you will be reporting to the Head of Finance, managing 4 direct reports and a wider team of 8. Duties include: Ensure internal and external reporting deadlines are met on time and to the required level of quality. Ensure accounts are compliant with IFRS and/or local accounting standards. Co-ordinate the month-end close of the financial ledgers and the preparation of the financial statements for the assigned entities, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and present them to the CFO for signature. Ensure creation and posting of journal entries and perform month-end activities as per the month-end calendar. Ensure completion of reporting (Intercompany, Inventory, Financial Reporting) to Group deadlines. Ensure completion of the monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations. Ensure performance and document monthly analysis of Balance Sheet and P&L for all in-scope companies, documenting and communicating points of significance or material movements to relevant stakeholders. Ensure presentation of the Balance Sheet(s) to Controllers on a periodic basis, highlighting and resolving accounting matters. Analyse non-COI movements, liaise with group departments to ensure correct presentation. Present Financial Statements to CFO for signature. Actively manage Budget and Forecast process for Balance Sheet level submissions (Trade Working Capital, Tax, Cash Flow) or any other Budget and Forecast submission where consolidation is required. What you'll need to succeed Experience working in a similar role. A relevant finance qualification. Strong system and analysis skills.
