Responsibilities of the Finance Manager
As a Finance Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial future of our client's organisation. You will be tasked with developing and implementing financial strategies that align with the company's goals. Your expertise in budgeting will be crucial in leading the annual budgeting process and ensuring realistic forecasts. You will prepare comprehensive financial reports on a regular basis for the Head of Finance and executive team. Your role will also involve managing cash flow to ensure liquidity and proper capital allocation across the group. Compliance with accounting standards, tax laws, and regulatory requirements will fall under your purview. Additionally, you will oversee the development of management accountants while monitoring operational and project-related expenditures to drive cost efficiencies across business units.
Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the goals of the organisation Lead the annual budgeting process, ensuring realistic forecasts Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for the Head of Finance and executive team Manage cash flow to ensure liquidity and proper capital allocation across the group Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax laws, and regulatory requirements Oversee and develop management accountant Monitor operational and project-related expenditures, driving cost efficiencies across business units Identify and manage financial risks ensuring proper mitigation strategies are in place What the successful candidate will bring
Professional Qualification: ACCA, CIMA, or ACA certified Strong knowledge of financial planning, analysis, and reporting Proficiency in accounting standards (IFRS/GAAP) Ability to develop long-term financial strategies aligned with business objectives Excellent ability to present financial data and analysis to non-financial stakeholders clearly and concisely Ability to assess financial risks, identify issues, and implement solutions proactively Minimum 3+ years of experience in a finance role, preferably within a multi-entity structure What sets this company apart
