Your new role
An exciting position leading a small team through growth and providing effective commercial financial reporting. Duties will include but not be limited to: Managing a small team of 4 direct reports in finance/sales admin Daily operations of all accounting processes Produce draft monthly management reports with supporting analysis Payroll liaison with payroll agency Expense Claims Credit Control oversight Be the first port of call for any finance queries from the business Work will include prepayments, accruals, income and expense reviews and analysis of variances against budget Co-ordinate month and year-end processes, including being the key point of contact with external auditors Preparation of monthly balance sheet reconciliations Support the budgeting and forecasting process Cashflow management, monitoring and payments control Monitoring of costs, margins and variances Completion of the VAT returns Oversee a perpetual stocktake process Capital assets reconciliations (fixed assets register) Providing financial and commercial advice to sales director and directors Process improvement What you'll need to succeed
Experience of managing and leading a small team Managing supplier relationships Experience of producing management accounts Experience of providing commercial updates and advice Experience of managing day-to-day processes and ensuring relevant controls are in place Strong communication skills and the ability to build excellent relationships High attention to detail and accuracy A supportive attitude to staff development A flexible and adaptable approach Be a self-starter What you'll get in return
