A highly entrepreneurial business is looking to recruit an ambitious and talented Finance Manager to join the Senior Management Team. Reporting to an ex-Big 4 FD, you will be responsible for the following: Preparing monthly accounts and forecast reports including the P&L, balance sheet, and supporting commentary. Preparing monthly sales analysis along with preparing annual accounts. Monitoring fixed assets. Corporation Tax calculation. Working with our payroll provider in preparing monthly payroll. Maintaining the sales and purchase ledger. Responsibility for the company credit cards. Monthly account reconciliations. Corresponding with HMRC. Monthly VAT returns. Monthly Intrastat and EC Sales returns. Responsible for Accounts Department (1 employee). This is a real development opportunity for a finalist/newly qualified or QBE accountant to join the company at a time when there will be a real opportunity to make a difference and impact. Strong Excel skills are required, and due to location, only car drivers will be considered.
