£30,000–£35,000 per annum About the Role: We are excited to be recruiting for a Finance Officer to join a growing team in Crawley. This varied role combines finance operations, general administration, and bookkeeping, offering an excellent opportunity to contribute to the smooth running of a dynamic organisation. The ideal candidate will have experience with finance software, a keen eye for detail, and a proactive approach to managing both financial and administrative tasks. An AAT qualification is desirable but not essential for candidates with relevant experience. Key Responsibilities: Process payroll accurately and on time, ensuring compliance with regulations and company policies. Manage the purchase ledger, including coding and posting invoices, supplier reconciliations, and preparing payment runs. Maintain accurate bookkeeping records, including journal entries, bank reconciliations, and accounts management. Provide general administrative support, including document management, correspondence, and maintaining records. Support month-end processes and assist with preparing management accounts. Use finance software to monitor accounts payable and receivable, resolving discrepancies promptly. Collaborate with the team to improve financial processes and ensure adherence to company policies. Candidate Profile: Proven experience in payroll, purchase ledger, bookkeeping, and general administration. Proficiency in finance software such as Sage, Xero, or similar systems is essential. Strong attention to detail and ability to handle both finance and administrative tasks methodically. Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise multiple tasks effectively. A proactive and flexible approach to problem-solving and team collaboration. AAT qualification is preferred but not essential. What Our Client Offers: Competitive salary of £30,000–£35,000 per annum.
