Location: Leicestershire Job Type: Full-time Salary: Competitive We are seeking a School Financial Advisor to provide a comprehensive on-site financial and administrative management service for schools and colleges in accordance with the Service Level Agreement, Local Management of Schools, and appropriate regulations. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, has excellent financial management skills, and can work independently as well as part of a team. Day-to-day of the role:

Maintain, control, and monitor computer finance accounts and other related records to ensure compliance with the Local Management of Schools Scheme of Delegation and appropriate financial regulations. Plan, prepare, and evaluate annual school budgets in line with the school’s development plan, providing income and expenditure projections using current information, legislation, and historic spend patterns. Project budgets for up to 5 years for long-term planning. Prepare monthly detailed and complex financial reports, analysing data for the purpose of budget tracking for budget managers, headteachers/principals, and governors’ meetings. Attend meetings as required to advise governing bodies with accurate information. Work collaboratively with various school-based staff and be an integrated member of the School Financial Advisor Team. Required Skills & Qualifications:

Proven experience in financial management within an educational setting. Strong ability to create and manage budgets, with a capability to project up to 5 years ahead. Excellent analytical skills and proficiency in financial reporting. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, supporting multiple schools. Willingness to attend training courses, conferences, seminars, or other meetings as required. This post is subject to an Enhanced check by the Criminal Records Bureau. Benefits:
