Finance Officer £29,000 per annum Full-time, permanent Peterborough (on-site with some flexibility) Do you want to use your finance skills to support our vital work of improving the lives of marginalised people affected by leprosy? If so, we want to hear from you! This is an exciting opportunity to join a skilled and diverse team, with a culture of growing and learning together, in addition to award winning levels of staff engagement. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will have at least 24 months’ experience of

working in a finance role. You will be able to deliver an effective financial management service, including purchase and sales ledger. A confident Microsoft Excel user, you will be ace at prioritising tasks and have an ability to coordinate across multiple

The Leprosy Mission (TLM) is a leading international Christian development organisation working in Africa and Asia. Today, one person every two minutes is diagnosed with leprosy. It’s a disease of poverty, striking the most vulnerable. Left untreated, it

causes permanent disability. Stigma means that people affected by this disease are often rejected by those closest to them. TLM has a zero-tolerance approach to any harm to, or exploitation of, our beneficiaries, staff and communities we come into contact with. Recruitment to roles within TLM includes, in particular, criminal record checks and the collection of relevant references.

A criminal record will not necessarily bar you from joining us as an employee; this will depend on the circumstances of any offences. Safeguarding is our top priority in everything we do. TLM is an explicitly Christian charity, empathy with the Christian ethos of the organisation is essential. We are committed to diversity and welcome applications from appropriately qualified people from all sections of the community. To apply and for more information on this role and our work, please visit: www.leprosymission.org.uk Closing date: 9am on Friday 21 February 2025. Pre-liminary interviews (Zoom): To be confirmed.
