Within this framework, the Finance Performance and Improvement Analyst is a revised role responsible for the improvement of financial processes; the maintenance of accurate and insightful reporting on our core financial operations such as payments to suppliers, billing and financial performance and supporting our internal audit programme. Process Transformation This is a revised role to bring added value to Grosvenor’s Urban Property business, which bills c.£200m per year. We are in the process of implementing a new ERP system that will transform our reporting capabilities, delivering more accurate and timely insights into key financial operations to our stakeholders. This role will be a key voice in the design and implementation of the new finance system, working closely with the programme team in relation to operational finance matters. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in optimising business processes, ensuring alignment with the new system and supporting in the successful transition of operational finance to the new platform. You will collaborate closely across different teams, including finance, IT and business functions to ensure the new finance systems meets business requirements and achieves operational efficiency. Once the system is implemented, there will be opportunities for career development in this role, including providing ongoing support to operational finance teams to maximise the value of the new system, as well as continuously enhancing our insight reporting capabilities. Analyst Part of this role will be providing analyst support to the operational finance team; we are looking for a detail-oriented individual to provide financial insights and support key business decisions through analysis of financial data and reporting. You will work closely with members of the operational finance team to drive business performance and ensure financial accuracy. Internal Audit The role will also support the internal audit programme across the group, working with our third-party provider to assist on scoping, support and delivery of internal audits. Key Responsibilities Act as a project lead and manage process improvement initiatives to streamline operations, reduce costs, and enhance overall financial performance. Design and implement new reporting processes across the finance function focusing on accurate reporting and impact on operational efficiency. Design new reports using large datasets and providing analysis on output for key operational finance processes including Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable. Drive continuous improvement in processes, systems and lead on automation initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy for the operational finance team and wider Finance Centre. Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to gain buy-in for process changes and drive continuous improvement whilst ensuring business needs are met. Ad hoc analysis of data to provide practical insight to inform decision making and drive the commercial performance of the business. Assist with the delivery of the internal audit programme for UK and wider Group. Key Requirements Strong Excel and PowerBI skills/or other Business Information software reporting experience. Experience in implementing a new ERP. A change management and growth mindset. Analytical mindset, capable of seeing past the raw data to understand key trends. Clear presentation skills, providing clear insight to those requesting the analysis. Able to demonstrate examples of innovative thinking and a strong track record of having delivered process improvements. Excellent communicator, capable of understanding complex demands from senior stakeholders. Operates with an open mind, working with a diverse team and stakeholders in a manner which is inclusive. Experience of operational finance desirable but not essential. Experience in using Microsoft Dynamics 365 and OneStream helpful.
