Finance & Purchasing Controller - Immingham Rail Industry Experienced administrator required to join a dynamic team at a leading transportation specialist, focusing on nationwide freight wagon maintenance and repair. The Opportunity: A well-established entity in the transportation industry, specialising in nationwide maintenance and repair of freight wagons, is currently seeking a motivated individual to join their team as a Finance and Purchasing Controller. This role is crucial for overseeing financial operations and procurement activities, ensuring efficient material acquisition and control. The Finance and Purchasing Controller will play a key role in managing procurement processes, including the purchase ledger, invoicing, purchase orders, and internal accounts payable. This position is essential for meeting financial deadlines and supporting the Supply Chain Manager and Finance Manager within a cohesive team environment. Key Responsibilities: Goods Received Note (GRN) Management: Responsible for processing and tracking all GRNs to ensure accurate inventory management. Accounts Payable: Efficiently handle supplier invoices and payments, ensuring timely processing and adherence to financial procedures. Purchase Order Generation: Manage the creation and tracking of purchase orders to maintain supply chain efficiency and support operational needs. Candidate Essentials: Previous experience in an administrative role involving the handling of purchase orders (POs). Experience using an ERP system (e.g., SAP, Sage, etc.). Comfortable with stakeholder interaction, proactive in communication, relationship-focused, and confident in phone communication. Ability to work independently with a high degree of autonomy and self-drive. Closing Date:
