Finance Specialist Type: 6-month contract (hourly rate via agency) – Inside IR35 Location: Staines-upon-Thames, Surrey, UK Working Policy: Hybrid – 4 days onsite and 1 day remote per week

We are seeking a skilled Finance Specialist to join our client's team on a 6-month contract, covering maternity leave. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to financial management, reporting, and forecasting processes within a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Support various activities within the Finance team. Prepare operating budgets and forecasts and deliver accurate reports on financial results. Collaborate with directors to provide financial information supporting decision-making and reporting, including budget preparation. Produce timely financial reports and statements, including monthly cost reporting by division and project with analysis against plans and forecasts. Manage the recharge of R&D expenses. Deliver monthly management accounts, budgets, forecasts, and commentaries. Liaise with external auditors as required. Drive improvements in internal controls and procedures. Foster team motivation and cultivate strong working relationships. Provide progress reports following meetings and other activities as appropriate.

Skills and Qualifications:

Fully or part-qualified Accountant (ACCA, CIMA, or similar) preferred. Fluent in Korean and English. Experience in Project Accounting is desirable. Advanced skills in accounting software, spreadsheets (Microsoft Excel), and databases, including SAP. Strong presentation, communication, and planning abilities, including presenting financial data. Capable of making financial decisions independently. Experience in cross-cultural work settings. Proactive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, and eagerness to learn. Understanding of documentation requirements. Ability to adopt and implement business philosophies and strategies.
