Join us as a Finance Systems Administrator, where you'll tackle diverse challenges, support critical operations, and contribute to the smooth running of our finance systems. The role As Finance Systems Administrator reporting to the Finance Systems Manager, you will: Provide user support and resolve finance system issues, including troubleshooting, root cause analysis, monitoring and escalation while ensuring compliance with SLAs. Possess strong IT, Excel and analytical skills, demonstrating accuracy and attention to detail. Demonstrate excellent customer service skills and the ability to deliver a high-quality and professional service, maintaining good working relationships. Assist with ad hoc reporting, large data extracts, and periodic reports, including PI and budget holder statements, to support business needs. Perform system maintenance and administration tasks, including configuration, reconciliation, period/year-end processes and access management. Support system testing activities, including planning, coordinating testers, managing the test script library, liaising with IT and business teams, ensuring adherence to test plans, assisting with defect management, and performing system administration testing. Support finance systems projects and governance groups, provide administrative assistance, and collaborate on maintaining and improving process maps and documentation. About Finance Systems The Finance Systems team sits within the Directorate of Finance and is responsible for maintaining the Oracle Financials application, along with a number of other finance and reporting packages. Primary responsibilities of the team include providing systems support to users, overseeing systems processes at month end, responding to requests and issues as they arise, report development and distribution, ensuring systems-based control and reconciliation processes are in place and well managed, and supporting the continuous improvement of finance systems and processes. The Team The Directorate of Finance comprises approx. 240 employees spread across 8 different teams managing a variety of finance activities. Finance Systems is a small (5-10 person) team forming part of Financial Services (Central Finance), working closely alongside the areas of Financial Control, Corporate Finance, Tax, and Finance Operations.
