The Role As a Finance Team Leader, you will oversee all aspects of financial operations across our UK entities, while managing the work of the finance shared service team.Specifically, you will ensure timely processing of invoices, resolution of queries with customers and suppliers, credit control and supplier payments, payroll processing, treasury matters and VAT processes. Overseeing the work of your team, you will ensure they deliver purchasing and sales ledger activities and process and log all accounts payable transactions.Additionally, you will:- Manage supplier payment proposals and ensure payments are processed by due dates- Oversee bank transaction recording and reconciliation across multiple accounts- Prepare VAT and CIS returns for review and submission- Support month-end and year-end processes- Assist with auditor requests and provide detailed data analysis About You To be considered as a Finance Team Leader, you will need:- Extensive experience in accounting and/or finance- Experience of leading a small team- Experience working with customers and suppliers- The ability to manage large volumes of data and perform detailed analyses- Strong planning and organisational skills- Excellent verbal and written communication skills- Attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality work- A comprehensive educational backgroundOther organisations may call this role Finance Team Manager, Accounts Ledger Team Leader, Accounting Team Lead, Financial Operations Supervisor, or Finance Supervisor.Webrecruit and Cenergist are equal opportunities employers, value diversity and are strongly committed to providing equal employment opportunities for all employees and all applicants for employment.
