Job Description: As an Accounts Assistant, you will be pivotal in managing and maintaining the company’s financial records and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. You will work closely with the finance team to handle day-to-day monetary operations and provide support in various accounting functions. Key Responsibilities: Process and manage accounts receivable and accounts payable. Perform bank reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records. Manage payroll functions, including calculations for SSP, ETA, sick pay, and auto-enrolment pensions. Utilize accounting software such as Sage 50, QuickBooks, and Xero to ensure accurate record-keeping. Prepare and process invoices, payments, and receipts. Assist with financial reporting and month-end tasks. Monitor cash flow and resolve discrepancies promptly. Collaborate with the team to ensure compliance with financial regulations. Requirements: Proven experience in accounting, with a strong understanding of financial principles. Proficiency in

QuickBooks , and

Xero . Knowledge of payroll processing, including SSP, ETA, sick pay, and auto-enrolment pensions. Familiarity with accounts receivable, accounts payable, and bank reconciliation processes. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Strong communication and problem-solving abilities. Minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
