If yes, read on! This forward-thinking and commercially minded property organisation is currently seeking a Financial Accountant to join their team on a permanent basis. This is a high-profile role in a dynamic finance team, where you will be pivotal in ensuring the integrity of the organisation’s financial operations and guiding the organisation’s financial future. The key duties of this Financial Accountant are as follows: Play a leading role in the production of statutory across all entities in the group, ensuring timely and accurate submissions. Provide expert advice on accounting standards to senior stakeholders. Oversee inter-company accounting and ensure robust financial controls. Drive continuous improvement in financial processes and systems. Liaise with auditors to ensure compliance and smooth year-end processes. Maintain the accuracy and integrity of the general ledger and ensure all reconciliations are completed. This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced Financial Account to work closely with a supportive, forward-thinking finance team, tackling challenges that will refine their expertise and elevate their career, all under the supportive leadership of an impressive line manager. Please note that this role will be based in Basingstoke, although opportunities to work from home will be on offer for up to three days per week. The successful candidate will have: Experience managing financial accounting tasks and leading statutory accounts production. Ideally, a background working in the real-estate, social housing or wider property sector. Worked in a complex environment, ideally across a multi-entity structure. A track record of meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
