About the Company: We are recruiting on behalf of a company based in Birmingham, who are committed to delivering high-quality services to our clients. As they continue to expand, they are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Financial Accountant to join the team. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of an innovative and dynamic work environment while contributing to the growth of the company. Key Responsibilities: Manage the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements in compliance with UK GAAP. Perform reconciliation of balance sheet accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Support in the preparation of management reports, financial forecasts, and budgets. Assist in the preparation of VAT returns and other statutory filings. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure financial data accuracy and timely reporting. Identify areas for improvement in financial processes and implement efficient solutions. Provide financial analysis to support business decision-making. Liaise with external auditors during the annual audit process. Required Qualifications & Skills: ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified (or equivalent) with a strong understanding of UK accounting regulations. Proven experience as a Financial Accountant or in a similar financial role. Proficient in accounting software and MS Excel; knowledge of [specific software used] is a plus. Strong attention to detail and analytical skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team. Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain financial data to non-financial stakeholders. Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines.
