We are looking for an experienced Financial Accountant to join our Head Office finance Team based in Blisworth. We are looking for someone who has recent practice experience who is looking to expand their career within an industry environment. The ideal candidate will be either newly qualified ACA or ACCA. Blisworth Central Accounts produces Accounts for Multiple Divisions comprising of Oilsense, Aylesbury AD’s and Supply Collect (x11 depots). The successful candidate will have strong Balance sheet experience and will be responsible for ensuring the main risk areas of Balance sheets for all Divisions are controlled, in particular, Fixed Assets, Accrued Income, Stocks, Maintenance and Rebate Accruals. The Role will also include: Preparation of weekly and management accounts with KPI’s and supporting information. Variance analysis of weekly accounts vs monthly accounts vs Budgets. Completing bank reconciliations. Completion of Monthly Payroll Analysis including Journals. Calculating and scheduling of accruals & prepayments. Capital Expenditure Reporting and Fixed Asset Control for All Divisions. Calculating Month End Rebates & Fresh Discounts Accruals, ensuring rates accrued are correct & approving supplier invoices. Preparation of Balance sheet reconciliations & investigate variances as required. Supporting the finance team in preparation of Annual Budgets & Forecasts. Attending Internal audits to sites to maintain/strengthen controls. Assisting with ABP Internal and Year End External Audits & Auditors. Producing Supporting information for taxation computation on a monthly basis. Weekly Cashflow Reporting. Qualifications & Skills Required: ACA/ACCA Newly Qualified. Audit experience is essential ideally with external audits. Strong interpersonal and communication skills for stakeholder management. A can do attitude and ability to adapt to changing priorities when required. Ability to work Independently as well as collaborate with the team for larger pieces of work. Ability to work to deadlines and manage own priorities. Good attention to detail is required including a high degree of accuracy. Strong Excel skills will be required including VLOOKUP’s & Pivot Tables. Ability to use Microsoft office daily including Word & Outlook.
