Bradford based Manufacturing business are looking to expand their accounts function with a Financial Accountant opportunity. You will support senior finance with general accounts production and managing year end. You will be a key member of the finance team, ensuring financial reports are accurately relayed to the board. The role offers great exposure and the chance to work within a growing industry for a business that can offer fantastic progression opportunities. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced financial accountant to showcase their abilities and take full control of the efficiency of year end. You will be responsible for the delivery of these responsibilities: Manage the year end processes including audit and financial reporting. Work alongside auditors and regulatory bodies to ensure statutory and sector requirements are completed

Have full control of the balance sheet and control accounts

Liaising with internal / external auditors as appropriate and ensuring that agreed recommendations are implemented

Monitor cash-flow, highlighting any risks and assisting the business in using their financial resources effectively

Provide strong technical support allowing the development of the finance team to deliver operational finance responsibilities.

Preferably you will have experience as a Financial Accountant and either part-qualified or qualified ACCA/CIMA/ACA.
