Financial Accountant
to join their business on a permanent basis. The
Financial Accountant
would be a newly qualified/1-2 years pqe accountant, practice trained. The Financial Accountant would be responsible for assisting in the preparation of statutory accounts and managing a team. This is an expanding organisation and would suit a technically strong proactive individual. Duties of the Financial Accountant include:
Delivering comprehensive financial reports. Preparation of full monthly statutory accounts. Overseeing the Accounts Payable function. Preparing financial statements, including balance sheet and cash flow statements. Responsible for preparing accruals, prepayments, and other month end journals. Ensuring the balance sheet is fully reconciled at month end. Preparing the monthly management accounts, budgets, and forecasts to aid business planning. Managing end-to-end audit process of current systems. Managing cash flow and budgets. Conducting financial forecasting and collaborating with department heads to manage P&Ls. Reporting under IFRS and UK GAAP. Providing financial insights and recommendations to senior management. Maintaining robust financial systems to support current operations and future growth. Implementing controls and procedures. Ad-hoc projects. Requirements for the Financial Accountant include:
Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA - newly qualified or 1-2 years post qualified.
