Fujifilm is a Japanese global leader in imaging, information, and document solutions. The Broadstairs site comprises of Group functions and a manufacturing site. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with regulations, and driving key financial insights that support Fujifilm’s business strategies. We are looking for Qualified Accountants ideally from an audit background, either direct from practice or with a year or two’s experience in industry. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package. Key Responsibilities: Statutory accounts preparation and completion for two business units. Manage month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring compliance with IFRS or GAAP standards. Conduct variance analysis and provide actionable insights to support management decision-making. Work closely with the internal and external auditors, effectively business partnering to achieve successful and timely audit. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop budgets, forecasts, and financial plans. Ensure compliance with tax regulations and statutory requirements, liaising with tax authorities as needed, and completing corporation tax computations. Assist in process improvement initiatives to streamline accounting operations and enhance internal controls. Previous Experience The successful candidate will likely be an ICAEW or ACCA qualified accountant from an accountancy practice or financial accounting background. Experience of managing audit processes, either from practice side or industry side or both, is essential. You will be a strong communicator and business partner as well as ambitious to develop and grow your career in this role.
