We are working with an established imaging solutions company in the Thanet area who are looking to employ a Financial Accountant on a permanent basis, in office.

The role will include work on management and statutory reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and internal/external audit compliance processes.

The key responsibilities include:

Statutory accounts preparation and completion for two business units. Manage month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring compliance with IFRS or GAAP standards. Conduct variance analysis and provide actionable insights to support management decision-making. Work closely with the internal and external auditors, effectively business partnering to achieve successful and timely audit. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop budgets, forecasts, and financial plans. Ensure compliance with tax regulations and statutory requirements, liaising with tax authorities as needed, and completing corporation tax computations. Assist in process improvement initiatives to streamline accounting operations and enhance internal controls.

To be proficient in this role, you will need: A recognised accounting qualification (CIMA, ACCA, ICAEW). Proven familiarity of financial and management reporting. Working knowledge of taxation issues (corporation tax, VAT, RDEC). Experience working in a manufacturing environment is desirable but not essential. Experience with ERP/Cognos/TM1 is desirable but not essential.
