Hybrid Role – Filton
Initial contract until the end of 2025

WHAT WILL THE FINANCIAL ACCOUNTANT BE DOING?
Our client is in the process of acquiring the trade and assets of another company and are looking for a Financial Accountant to help pre-empt potential issues and to identify possible errors in the data. There will be a mix of responsibilities pre deal closing, and post-closing, such as:
Setting up lead ledgers in SAP
Assisting with due diligence on the balance sheet
Defining and documenting key financial processes and controls
Application of IFRS, in line with Group Accounting Policies
Application of UK GAAP to produce the UK statutory accounts
An Accounting Qualification such as ACA, ACCA, or CIMA
Understanding of IFRS and UK GAAP reporting requirements
Experience with SAP
Any previous Mergers or Acquisitions experience would be desirable
Be able to achieve BPSS clearance
