This Harlow based manufacturing company is looking for a financial accountant to add to their already excellent finance team.
Your new role
Accounts Payable management, including processing invoices & expense claims.
Monthly Payroll submission & Pension returns.
Preparation of Government Statistics, VAT and PAYE.
Fixed asset register management, including maintenance, budgeting, forecasting & reporting.
Maintain cashbook and perform daily cash management duties.
Month end Accruals, prepayments & Journals. Balance Sheet reconciliations.
Support year end audit and statutory accounts to ensure queries are answered quickly and accurately.
Identify and implement ad hoc projects for process improvements.
Deputise for the Finance Controller as required.
Perform other ad-hoc duties and reporting as needed.
What you'll need to succeed
Qualified accountant, preferably CIMA/ACCA or equivalent.
Good technical financial accounting skills and understanding of relevant accounting standards.
Excellent IT skills, including advanced Excel, and strong finance system skills. Microsoft BC and Power BI would be an advantage but not essential.
Experience in a growing, performance orientated manufacturing industry.
What you'll get in return
Salary ranging between £55,000 - £65,000.
Annual Bonus.
