A Financial Accountant is needed to support the Accounting & Finance department of an Aviation company. The individual will be responsible for maintaining financial reports, records, and general ledgers, as well as performing general bookkeeping and accounting work. Description Prepare, examine, and analyse financial reports and records Perform general bookkeeping Ensure financial reporting deadlines are met Resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities Continuous management and support of budget and forecast activities Monitor and support taxation requirements Prepare for financial audit and coordinate the audit process Oversee accurate and appropriate recording and analysis of revenues and expenses Profile A successful Financial Accountant should have: A degree in Accounting or Finance Studying towards a professional accounting qualification from an accredited body Experience with financial reporting standards Proficiency in all aspects of corporate accounting and all pertinent Strong understanding of economic and banking processes Strong analytical skills Positive, proactive, and can-do attitude towards tasks and challenges Effective communication and interpersonal skills Able to work independently as well as part of a team Proficiency with Microsoft Office and advanced knowledge of MS Excel and PowerPoint SAP knowledge is desirable, but not essential Job Offer Financial Accountant Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 per year Permanent position Benefits package (to be confirmed) Opportunity for professional growth and career progression Part of a supportive and dedicated team in a well-established aviation company Good location and transport links in Hounslow
