Our client is looking to recruit an Interim Financial Accountant on a 3–6-month contract to support their finance team through the year-end and get them set up for Audit. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in preparing statutory accounts, leading audit processes, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. This role offers an exciting opportunity to provide accurate financial reporting and contribute significantly to the company's financial health.
As a Financial Accountant, you will be instrumental in preparing the statutory accounts and leading the company through their audit. Your primary responsibilities include preparing statutory accounts, leading audit processes, and ensuring regulatory compliance. You will also prepare comprehensive financial reports on a regular basis. Your role extends beyond numbers as you identify areas for process improvement and collaborate effectively across departments.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and review statutory accounts in line with accounting standards and regulations Lead the annual audit process, serving as the primary contact for external auditors Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for internal and external stakeholders Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and standards Identify opportunities for process improvements within the finance function Work closely with other finance team members to support business objectives Minimum Requirements:
