A fast-growing retail business based in London is recruiting for a Financial Accountant to be part of their exciting journey. This is a great opportunity for a recently qualified accountant to join a business that has experienced fantastic (and consistent) growth in terms of revenue and new locations/countries.
Duties will include:
Preparing statutory accounts for multiple entities within the group
Creating and maintaining the investor report for external stakeholders
Updating of budgets and forecast model
Accurate and timely month-end accounting close including the recording and reviewing of journal entries
Cash-flow management including forecast and the management of working capital
Ensuring compliance with relevant tax regulations
Responsible for overseeing the year-end audit external audit process
Ongoing process improvements
The ideal candidate:
A qualified accountant who trained in a top-tier accountancy practice
Post-qualification experience in industry, ideally within a multi-site business, ideally 1-2 years
Technically strong including up-to-date IFRS knowledge
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a busy environment
