We are seeking a Financial Accountant to play a key role in our month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, as well as the preparation of statutory financial statements and management reporting. This role will collaborate closely with onshore and offshore finance teams, including transactional teams and centres of excellence. The successful candidate will be comfortable engaging with leadership and colleagues at all levels and will bring strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with a proactive approach to process improvements. Key Responsibilities

Prepare monthly/quarterly consolidated financial statements under IFRS. Assist with the preparation of statutory accounts under UK GAAP. Liaise with external auditors for both group and statutory audits. Prepare and improve monthly balance sheet reconciliations. Support external filings by preparing footnote-related schedules. Assist with corporation tax and VAT returns, working closely with tax teams. Contribute to system, financial reporting, and process enhancements. Analyse and explain financial variances at both regional and consolidated levels. Support special projects, including legal entity rationalisations and technical accounting guidance. Handle ad hoc requests, which are frequent and integral to the role. Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 3+ years of relevant experience, ideally in a global public company or large private group, with Big 4 or second-tier public accounting experience preferred. Strong attention to detail, work ethic, and self-motivation. Excellent organisational and time management skills. Proficiency in financial reconciliations, analysis, and reporting. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other office applications.
