Financial Accountant

Murray Recruitment are recruiting a Financial Accountant for our client, a growing business based in Lanarkshire. This is an exciting opportunity for a newly qualified accountant or a professional who is qualified by experience to join a dynamic team, playing a key role in the financial operations and contributing to the organisation's success. Overview As a Financial Accountant, you will ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial records while supporting the month-end timetable and providing key management information. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a hands-on environment and enjoys working collaboratively to achieve business goals. Key Responsibilities Performing key balance sheet reconciliations, including accruals and prepayments. Maintaining and updating the fixed asset register. Completing bank reconciliations with precision and timeliness. Supporting month-end processes and contributing to the development of management information suites. Handling ad hoc financial duties as required to support the team. Skills & Experience Newly qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or qualified by experience (QBE). Proficiency in advanced Excel, with the ability to work with complex formulas and data analysis. Knowledge of SAGE is desirable but not essential. Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
