Prepare accurate month-end and expenses journals. Reconcile balance sheets and resolve discrepancies. Conduct monthly VAT reviews. Provide finance input for systems projects (e.g., COINS ERP). Improve and document finance procedures, including compiling a finance manual. Support year-end audit and accounts processes, including preparing working papers and addressing auditor queries. Collaborate with finance team and business units to ensure accuracy and insights from financial information. Assist with Corporation Tax, other tax matters, and SAO requirements. Update the delegated authority and responsibility matrix as needed. Resolve CIS and VAT code queries from the business. Benefits

Excellent knowledge of FRS102 or IFRS. A strong understanding of ERP systems. Good working knowledge of UK Corporation Tax. General knowledge of construction, infrastructure services or related sectors. Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft products, particularly Excel. Experience
ACA or ACCA qualification (or equivalent qualification/relevant experience). A Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field (or equivalent qualification/relevant experience) is desirable.
