As a Financial Accountant, you will serve as the primary support for the Financial Controller and work closely with the wider Finance team to ensure the accuracy of financial reporting and the effectiveness of internal processes. You will play a crucial role in the monthly close process and annual accounts, being heavily involved in contributing to the preparation and delivery of valuable financial reporting. Additionally, you will be responsible for overseeing and improving processes within the department and across the wider business. Key Responsibilities:

Support the Finance Controller in closing month-end accounts. Assist in preparing the annual budget and forecasts. Liaise with budget owners to review variances. Ensure adherence to financial policies within the finance team. Support the Finance Controller in completing year-end accounts and annual statutory audits. Prepare and submit the group's VAT returns. Lead the team in making use and adoption of the company ERP and other financial systems. Manage direct reports as the team expands and undergoes restructuring. Qualifications:

ACA/ACCA/CIMA certification. The Person:
