Financial Accountant

Exclusive Removals is a family run, international removals company providing high-quality moving and storage solutions to clients between the UK, Portugal, Spain and Dubai. We are now looking for an experienced and motivated Accounts Manager to join our growing team. Job Overview: As an Accounts Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the company, ensuring accuracy and compliance in all accounting processes. You will manage accounts payable and receivable, monitor cash flow, prepare financial reports, and provide essential support for business decision-making. Your role will play a crucial part in driving the financial success and sustainability of our company. Key Responsibilities: Manage day-to-day accounting functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations. Prepare and maintain financial statements, reports, and budgets. Ensure accurate and timely processing of invoices, payments, and receipts. Monitor cash flow and assist with forecasting and financial planning. Coordinate with internal teams and external auditors to ensure compliance with financial regulations. Review and process employee expenses and payroll. Prepare financial reports and analysis for management. Handle any financial inquiries from clients or suppliers. Support management with decision-making through detailed financial data and insights. Requirements: Proven experience as an Accounts Manager or in a similar accounting role. Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting. Experience with accounting software Sage and financial management tools. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Good communication skills, both written and verbal. Knowledge of the removals or logistics industry is a plus. A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred but not essential).
