Broster Buchanan are delighted to be exclusively partnering with a world-renowned, Milton Keynes based client who are looking to recruit a Financial Accountant on a permanent basis.

The Financial Accountant will ensure accurate completion of quarterly and month-end reporting to the parent company, whilst providing effective business partnering and analysis to influence business decisions. They will manage capital expenditure and the fixed asset register, as well as assist in the preparation of statutory accounts and external audit.

Key responsibilities include:

Manage the monthly close and reporting process, including:

Consolidation pack reporting to the group parent Performance of month-end accounting tasks Month-end Balance Sheet reconciliations Internal Management Reporting

Manage the budgeting and forecasting processes, including data analysis and preparation of budget reports for overheads and balance sheet. Prepare monthly overhead workings and schedules, including analysis of major variances. Provide business partnering for overhead budget holders, including monthly reviews. Monitor and manage the internal budget application for overheads in Power BI. Manage all aspects of the CAPEX process, including:

Preparation of annual CAPEX budget Review and processing of CAPEX and disposal requests Fixed Asset management and accounting

Present monthly overheads meeting with Finance stakeholders to better understand and monitor spend. Produce analysis reports of overheads and balance sheet for monthly accounts pack to senior management. Build, maintain and influence strong relationships with key stakeholders. Support the preparation of the Statutory Accounts and the successful completion of the annual external audit. Assist in the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. Complete and file returns for the Office for National Statistics. The successful candidate will be a professionally qualified individual who possesses exceptional financial accounting skills and the ability to engage with and influence stakeholders at all levels in the business. They will be a strong IT user and have excellent Excel skills. Any experience with SAP would be an advantage.

Our client is offering a salary of £45,000 - £54,000 + Car + Benefits.
